Monika Kerschl

Co-owner of Thairapy | Hairstylist for 20+ years

Monika has spent most of her career in Toronto & Ottawa as a hairstylist, makeup artist and a colour educator for a prominent colour company. Her portfolio includes work for a well-known TV show.

Monika is also Thairapy's microblading artist – the art of semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing. Follow her microblading portfolio on Instagram @microbladingbymonika and Facebook Microblading by Monika.

Monika continues her passion for her career by staying current with the latest trends and techniques through education and attending seminars.

Rachel Kerschl

Co-owner of Thairapy | Hairstylist for 15+ years

For over 10 years Rachel worked under Claus Feser of Haute Coiffure in the trendy Bloor/Yorkville area of Toronto where she gained knowledge of the latest cutting and colouring techniques.

 Rachel has also done community work including the red door shelter and the Parkinson's Foundation.

Before opening Thairapy with Monika, she operated her own salon for the last six years with her love for hair & beauty only growing stronger.

Jennifer Bazley

Hairsylist | 10+ years experience

Jennifer has had a passion for hair since she can remember. She loves how a simple cut and colour can completely transform a woman or man, giving them a fresh new look and a boost of confidence.

Jennifer is also a proud resident of Lindsay. She has volunteered her time and skills for local non-profit organizations for the benefit of her community.

Jennifer loves learning new techniques, she stays on trend through various forms of education. She has developed a special love for fantasy colours and can proudly say she’s mastered the technique.

Desiree MacDonald

Hairstylist | Graduate of Aveda Institute

Desiree MacDonald is our newest team member. She is joining us from Toronto. She graduated from the Aveda Institute, an industry leader in education for the hair world in 2016.

After successfully graduating, she then started working at a salon in Toronto specializing in hair colouring.

Desiree is excited to be back in her hometown of Lindsay. She’s doing what she loves most, using the latest techniques in colouring and highlighting. Her goal is to make her clients feel beautiful and confident.
